Alpha Courses
On Sunday the 28th January we had an afternoon hearing of the way forward for Alpha groups in the parish with guest speaker Revd Peter Irwin-Clark who gave an inspiring talk about the use of house groups to be a way that people can enquire about the Christian faith. We learnt that 'cell' groups are the best way to help those who do not have much contact with the church to feel able to find out about God through Jesus. We were challenged by the thought that we need to be thinking of moving forward by creating new groups to help this happen.
After some wonderful refreshments and sherry we were led in worship by Peter and Camilla.
